Watch and Listen to Songs from This Concert.

While the old poem, Something old, something new, something borrowed, something blue, is often quoted in the context of a wedding, it’s also an apt way to describe the variety of pieces we have prepared for you this year.

Something old is represented by a few familiar pieces from our history along with a 12th century piece from the mystical poet, Hildegard of Bingen. Something new includes pieces composed very recently. Something borrowed refers to pieces we have borrowed from other cultures and musical styles, such as a beautiful love song in the Haida language. Throughout the concert you will hear plenty of references to blue skies and ocean waves.

Just relax and let the beautiful voices and harmonies wash over you.
