Off the Beaten Track
These past few months have challenged all of us in profound and lasting ways. So, your
favourite local Chamber Choir is looking forward to offering a musical evening that will calm your nerves, lift your spirits and plant a smile on your soul.
Yes, no joke, we will share our music with you on April 1st, 2025, 7 pm at The Nexus. Admission is by donation.
As many of you know, the talented Zach Power, who generously directed us for our 2023-24 season, has moved to the Lower Mainland. To our absolute delight, Syd Griffith has stepped up to the podium, enabling us to continue the singing we love. After a ‘soft’ start, we are once again readying for a spring concert, Off the Beaten Track.
Syd is always enthusiastic about creating and sharing music. Her energy infuses our rehearsals. Syd’s willingness to take us into new music genres and “Off the beaten Track” has been challenging and a whole lot of fun. Jim Johnston continues to support the choir with his musical genius.
The Willow Quartet
Joining us this year is The Willow Quartet. You will recognize the faces and the talent of these local musicians who gather to make music, sometimes for an audience, always for the joy it brings!
